This is quite easy. Select any small to medium-sized container or dustbin for collecting ripe Banana peels. Ask your family members to put ripe banana peels in that particular container.

This step will not only help you to collect ripe banana peels but you will also get connected with your family members for a good purpose.

Collect at least 8 to 10 banana peels.



Drying & Crushing Of Banana Peel

You can either cut them into pieces or dry them as a whole under sunlight for at least 2 to 3 days. If your living place lacks direct sunlight then you can dry them in the microwave oven.

They should become black in appearance and crispy in texture. Now with the help of crushing stones that we generally use to crush spices in the kitchen crush your dried banana peels to make it nearly like powder.

You can use this nutrient water in the ratio 1:5 with water to irrigate your flowering plants i.e. mix 1 part of your homemade banana peel fertilizer with 5 parts of water. You can use this solution to fertilize your flowering plants.

    1. In a litre of water, soak 4 to 5 banana peels, mix with water and apply 100 ml (banana peel fertilizer + Water) per plant. In powdered form, you can apply one tablespoon per plant.
