They have also decided to give solar-powered connection to 15 lakh farmers so that they can move to solar-powered pump sets instead of grid connections. Farmers who have fallow or barren lands will get help from the government to set up solar power generation units. They will be allowed to connect power generated from their unit with grids to generate electricity so that farmers can earn some money out of it.
The government has decided to encourage the balanced use of fertilizers( All kinds).They have also included traditional organic and innovative fertilizers. This step will balance out the excessive use of chemical fertilizers.
The government has aimed to double milk production by 2025.
