The total global mango production in 2021 was estimated around 46,585,981 tonnes. According to the data, India is the largest mango producing country in the world. Mango production in India accounts for around 50% of the total global production. In 2021, around 18,779,000 tonnes of mango was produced in India making it the top mango producer in the world.

It is followed by China, Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia & Pakistan. China is the second largest producer of mango with total production of around 4,771,038 tonnes (5% of the total global mango production) in 2021. Thailand is at 3rd position with total production of around 3,432,139 tonnes of mango (4% of the total global mango production) in 2021.

Uttar Pradesh is the largest mango production state in India. It accounts for around 23.64% of the total mango production in the country which is around 4,807,830 tonnes. It is followed by Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar & Telangana. Andhra Pradesh is the second largest mango production state in India with production around 4,676,060 tonnes (22.99% of the total mango production in India).

Karnataka is the third largest mango production state of India with total production of around 1,745,570 tonnes of mango. It accounts for around 8.58% of the total mango production in India.
