Mango production in India accounts for around 50% of the total global production. In 2021, around 18,779,000 tonnes of mango was produced in India making it the top mango producer in the world.
It is followed by China, Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia & Pakistan. China is the second largest producer of mango with total production of around 4,771,038 tonnes (5% of the total global mango production) in 2021. Andhra Pradesh is the second largest mango production state in India with production around 4,676,060 tonnes (22.99% of the total mango production in India).
Karnataka is the third largest mango production state of India with total production of around 1,745,570 tonnes of mango. It accounts for around 8.58% of the total mango production in India.
