Brooke L. Rollins was formally sworn in today as the 33rd U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas during a private ceremony at the Supreme Court building, following her confirmation by the Senate with a 72–28 vote.
“It is the honor of a lifetime… Every day, I will fight for American farmers, ranchers, and the agriculture community.”
Rollins said, expressing her dedication to revitalizing rural America & safeguarding U.S. agriculture worldwide. She has served as the Director of the Domestic Policy Council और Assistant to President Trump for Strategic Initiatives and also founded the America First Policy Institute and led the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
Brooke Leslie Rollins hails from Glen Rose, Texas. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a degree in agricultural development. Rollins made history as the first female student body president. President Trump praised her nomination, stating her commitment to “support the American Farmer, defense of American Food Self‑Sufficiency,” and revitalizing rural towns.
