India is the second largest pumpkin-producing country in the world with 2,127,430 tonnes of pumpkins. Here are the top pumpkin-producing Indian states.
Bihar is the tenth largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 19,100 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Bihar.
Jharkhand is the ninth largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 33,200 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Jharkhand.
Tamil Nadu is the eighth largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 59,170 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Tamil Nadu.
Karnataka is the seventh largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 78,610 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Karnataka.
Haryana is the sixth largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 92,180 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Haryana.
Chattisgarh is the fifth largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 110,640 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Chattisgarh.
West Bengal is the fourth largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 331,730 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in West Bengal.
Uttar Pradesh is the third largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 404,010 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Uttar Pradesh.
Orissa is the second largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 465,950 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Orissa.
Madhya Pradesh is the largest pumpkin-producing state of India. Around 532,820 tonnes of pumpkin were produced from 2021 to 2022 in Madhya Pradesh.
