India is the largest Jackfruit producing country in the world with annual production of around 1,785,310 tonnes of jackfruit in 2022 & here are the top jackfruit producing states in India. 

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu is the tenth largest jackfruit-producing state in India. Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu is known for Jackfruit production in the state. 

Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh is the ninth largest jackfruit-producing state in India. Farmers have also demanded GI tagging for jackfruits of Narmadapuram belt in the state.

Karnataka

Karnataka is the eighth largest jackfruit-producing state in India. Union government has recognized the "Siddu Jackfruit" of Karnataka for its unique taste.
