From rising temperatures to more frequent natural disasters, the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly apparent.
The Earth's temperature has risen by about 1 degree Celsius since the 19th century, and it is projected to continue to rise due to buildup of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
As temperatures rise, glaciers and ice caps around the world are melting at an unprecedented rate. This is causing sea levels to rise.
It is causing more frequent and severe natural disasters, such as hurricanes, droughts, and wildfires. These events can cause significant damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure
It is leading to more frequent and severe storms, as well as changes in precipitation patterns that can affect agriculture and water resources.
As habitats change and become less hospitable, many species are being forced to adapt or face extinction. This can have significant impacts on ecosystems.
Climate change can also have significant impacts on human health, through increased exposure to heat waves, air pollution, & disease-carrying organisms.
It can also have significant economic impacts, such as loss of crops and livestock, damage to infrastructure, and higher insurance costs.
