If you are a farmer in Bihar state in India, then to buy farm machinery the government is offering up to 80% subsidy through "Bihar Krishi Yantra Subsidy Yojana."
It means that if you have to pay 1 lakh rupees to purchase a machine, then by applying for this yojana, you will only have to pay only 20,000 rupees.
From this subsidy yojana, farmers of Bihar can get up to 80% subsidy on buying 108 types of farm machines. Moreover, if the machine is made in Bihar, then you can get an extra 10%.
Farmers will have to register themselves on the DBIT Portal before applying for this yojana and can apply from 10th October to 10th November 2023.
119 crore rupees have been allocated to fund this yojana to help farmers of Bihar. After applying farmers will get selected by a lottery system.
If you get selected by the lottery system then you will get a permit which will be valid for 15 days only. You will have to take benefit of the yojana within 15 days.
