Gardening is a fun activity which keeps us healthy but to keep our plants healthy we need to use fertilizers, get to know useful fertilizers for gardening.
Neem cakes are not only a rich source of nitrogen required for foliage growth of plants but they also have anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties.
Well decomposed cow dung manure contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, magnesium, and calcium. Hence, they are beneficial for overall growth.
It is best for growing houseplants, succulents & cactus as it contains magnesium, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus & also acts as soil conditioner.
They are a good source of organic calcium, hence are perfect for fruiting plants such as tomatoes, brinjal, etc. to increase fruit setting & reduce deficiency symptoms.
Banana peel fertilizer re good for promoting flowering in the plants. You can add dries & crushed banana peels in rose or hibiscus to promote flowering.
You can use well decomposed used tea leaves or leftover tea water in your houseplants as they are rich in nitrogen, phosphorus & potassium.
If you want to use inorganic fertilizer, then you can apply NPK (19:19:19) once after every 30 days on your plants to promote growth & flowering.
