What's The Best Time To Water Your Plants

by aditya abhishek

Introduction

If you love gardening, then you must know that watering accurately is very essential for the healthy growth of your plants in your garden.

Know The Need

Not every plant needs water in equal amounts and frequency. For example, succulents & cacti can survive without watering for longer days but pothos won't.

Watering Time

Prefer watering your plants either during morning hours or evening waters with water at room temperature. This will keep your plants hydrated and healthy.

Misting

During hot and dry days, mist your plants such as pothos, monstera, rose, peace lily, aglaonema, ferns, etc. twice or once every 2 to 3 days for better results.

Humidity

You can keep plants such as ferns, pothos, philodendrons, tillandsia, etc. in your bathroom as they prefer to do well in highly humid environments.

Drainage Holes

Make sure to have drainage holes at the bottom of your pots. It helps in avoiding waterlogging in the pot and hence protects them from fungal diseases.

Worst Time

Do not water your plants during the day when the sunlight is strong due to which the water kept in the tank gets heated. It is the worst time to water your plants.
