India is the largest milk producing country in the world. Annually around 146 Million tonnes of milk is produced in India.
After India, United States, China, Pakistan, Brazil, Germany, Russia, France, etc. are the major milk producing countries in the world.
Rajasthan is the largest milk producing state of India. It contributes around 15.05% of the total milk production in the country.
Uttar Pradesh is the second largest milk producing state of India. It contributes around 14.93% of the total milk production in the country.
Madhya Pradesh is the third largest milk producing state of India. It contributes around 8.06% of the total milk production in the country.
Gujarat is the fourth largest milk producing state of India. It contributes around 7.56% of the total milk production in the country.
Andhra Pradesh is the fifth largest milk producing state of India. It contributes around 6.97% of the total milk production in the country.
