Started with 14 vendors by Paul Newman and Michel Nischan at the parking lot of the Westport Country Playhouse Westport Farmers Market is home to fresh organic food. 

In 2009, they shifted to 50 Imperial Ave, Westport, Connecticut, United States and at present have more than 45 vendors supplying food to thousands of shoppers every week.  

Paul Newman, Michel Nischan and their vendors are committed to providing fresh, local, healthy, organic and non-GMO food to the American community. 

Westport Farmers Market is sponsered by Aitoro, Alma Mexican Food, Badass Bagels, Boxcar Cantina, Cohen & Wolf, Doc's Maple, etc. 

All the food listed in the market is locally grown, without the use of any food coloring, premade fillers, trans fats, GMO, high fructose corn syrup, etc. 

They also organize various programs such as Friend of the Market, Get Growing, etc. to raise voices and promote local food production in the country.
