agriculture review

Agriculture is a very important sector of American life, and in recent years for veterans it has become a path to success and fulfillment after serving their country.
It was founded in 2008 by Michael O'Gorman, a former executive director of the California Association of Food Banks.
The Farmer Veteran Coalition is an important non governmental organization that provides critical support to veterans who are pursuing a career in agriculture.
It is a network of veterans, farmers, and supporters who are dedicated to empowering military veterans to thrive in agriculture.
Through its financial assistance, education, training programs, & advocacy efforts, the coalition is helping veterans to overcome the challenges of starting and managing a farm.
One of the FVC's primary goals is to support veteran farmers and ranchers through its Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund.
Till now, the fund has awarded over $3 million in grants to more than 800 veterans. It also provides education and training opportunities to veterans interested in pursuing a career in agriculture.
The organization hosts a Homegrown By Heroes label program, which allows veteran farmers to label their products with a special logo that identifies them as veterans. That's quite impressive!
