The highest peak in the Andes mountain range is Aconcagua, it is about 22,841 feet tall.
However, if we include submarine mountain ranges, then mid-oceanic ridge is the longest mountain range. It stretches for about 65,000 kilometers.
The mid-ocean ridge is made up of thousands of individual volcanoes and volcanic ridge segments. They erupt periodically.
