by aditya abhishek

Stop Throwing Peels

If you are throwing peels of banana, onion, potato, orange, pomegranate, mango, etc., then stop and start making these wonderful fertilizers.

Banana Peel Fertilizer

To boost flowering in plants, you can use them. Prepare by drying them under the sun till they become black & crisp. Grind them and use them in the garden.

Onion Peel Fertilizer

To prepare this fertilizer, add 3 to 4 handfuls of onion peel in a liter of water, keep in the dark for 24 hours, strain, mix 1 part prepared liquid with 5 parts water and use on plants.

Orange Peel Fertilizer

Sun dry orange peels for 2 to 3 days or dry them in oven, crush them into smaller pieces and apply around plants to boost their foliage growth.

Potato Peel Fertilizer

Take a handful of potato peel in a liter of water, & shake it every day; after 4 days, strain this liquid and mix it with an equal amount of water, now apply on plants.

Apple Peel Fertilizer

Take a handful of apple peel in a liter of water and blend it in a blender; leave for 24 hours, then strain the liquid, mix with an equal part of water & use on plants.

Pomegranate Peel

Chop pomegranate peels into small pieces; dry them under sunlight for a week, crush them to a fine powder and store them. Use whenever needed on plants.
