India is the 5th largest economy in the world. In which service sector contributes around 53.89%, industrial sector around 25.92% & agriculture sector around 20.19% of the total GDP.
The country has been exporting various goods & services to different parts of the world for centuries. But in recent years, India has again started leading in exports of many products.
Kohinoor, the most precious gem was looted by Britishers from India, but still India is the leading exporter of diamonds in the world. In, 2021, total export value was around $26.3 Billions.
However, India is the second largest producer of rice in the world, but, despite the fact, it is the largest exporter of rice. In 2021, it exported rice worth $10 Billion.
India is the largest producer as well as the exporter of cotton yarn in the world. In 2021, the total export value was around $4.69 Billion. This is followed by Vietnam & China.
This beautiful country is known for its culture, artists and their work. Due to which India is now the world's largest exporter of Synthetic Reconstructed Jewellery Stones.
In 2021, India exported pepper worth of $1.33 Billion to the world. United States was the largest importer of pepper in the same year. It imported around pepper woth of $818 Million.
Not all the largest in the world but country's top exports are Refined Petroleum ($49B), Diamonds ($26.3B), Packaged Medicaments ($19.2B), Jewellery ($10.7B), & Rice ($10B).
