Pothos, also known as Devil's Ivy, Hunter's rove, etc. is native to India, China, Australia, etc. It is a popular houseplant and can also purify air toxins from the air.
Just like other tropical houseplants, pothos plant goes under rest during winters. That's why you will see minimal growth in pothos. During these days avoid adding fertilizers.
There are various factors that you need to follow to get lush green leaves colour in pothos. Keep your plant in bright indirect sunlight. Avoid keeping them in direct light.
Keep the soil evenly moist but avoid soggy condition or waterlogging in the soil. Waterlogging or dry soil for longer spells can result in poor leaves growth.
Adding nitrogen rich fertilizer once in a month from spring to end of summer season helps to keep leavs healthy. Add one tablespoon tea leaf compost along with 1/2 teaspoon bonemeal helps in growth.
Following these guidelines will help to make money plant bushier. Keep pruning timely, specially once the dormant season is over to promote new growth.
When plant grows longer, take stem cuttings and replant in the same pot. This helps in making them bushy.
