Soil & Potting Mix

Start growing tomatoes from seed by sowing seeds in germination tray or pots. Keep soil evenly moist under indirect sunlight. Within 10 days tomato seedlings will start emerging.

Once your tomato seedling reaches 3 to 4 true leaved stage then you can start transplanting them to the main pot. Apply water immediately after transplantation.

Bright direct sunlight for at least 6 to 8 hours throughout the day is essential for better growth and development in tomato plant.

Keep the soil evenly moist but avoid waterlogging in the pot and dry spells for longer duration. Apply water whenever top layer of soil becomes dry.

Staking tomato plant with help of a wooden stick and tying plant to the stick with the help of rope carefully is essential to avoid plant damage.
