In cold temperate climate grow during spring season, but in hot tropical climate you can grow during fall to winter season.
Prepare potting mix with 40% soil + 20% cocopeat + 10% river sand + 30% compost to grow this flowering plant.
You can select 6 to 8 inches sized pots with 2 to 4 drainage holes at the bottom of the pot.
Broadcast seeds on potting soil and cover with thin layer, apply water, within 10 days they will start germinating.
Bright indirect sunlight to direct sunlight for 5 to 6 hours daily is good for growing petunia.
Petunia loves moist soil, apply when top layer of soil seems dry, avoid overwatering as it can damage plant.
Avoid using nitrogen rich fertilizers. Add two handful of organic compost and banana peel fertilizer once a month.
After germination of seeds petunia plants will take around 90 to 100 days to start blooming.
