Aloe Vera is a wonderful air purifying houseplant that you must have in your home. It can filter harmful toxins such as Benzene, Formaldehyde, Xylene, Toluene, Trichloroethylene, and Ammonia.
If you want to learn on how to grow and care for Aloe Vera, then keep reading till the end and follow every points very carefully.
You can use succulent or cactus potting mix for growing Aloe. Or you can prepare potting mix with 1 part soil, 1 part sand, and 1 part compost.
Do not keep Aloe Vera under direct sunlight. Keep your Aloe Plant under bright indirect sunlight to get good growth.
Another important point is about watering Aloe Vera. Do not water regularly. Only water when soil becomes completely dry. Excess watering can kill Aloe Vera plants.
For luscious growth, after every 60 days you can add one handful of organic compost rich in nitrogen to your Aloe Vera plant.
You can easily propagate Aloe Vera from offsets. After growing Aloe for few months you will notice growth of small plants alongside, take them out with roots and plant them.
If you will follow all the points carefully then you might get chance to witness Aloe Vera flowering from March to May.
