Echeveria is a genus of succulent flowering plant and has about 150 species and more than 1000 cultivars.
Spring and Fall are the best season to start growing Echeveria. However, depending on variety they can also grow during extreme summers & winters.
You can use cactus soil or prepare potting mix with 30% soil + 30% leaf compost + 10% river sand + 10% perlite.
Echeveria love to grow under full sunlight. You can keep them near window where there is presence of sunlight throughout the day.
Avoid soggy condition, make sure drainage is good. Apply little amount of water in a week during summers, and in a month during winters.
Apply handful of leaf manure once after every 60 days. You can also use NPK 20:20:20 along with leaf manure.
You can propagate Echeveria by leaf or stem cuttings. Place cuttings on potting mix and cover them, within time you will notice new growth.
