Although they are not considered true lilies, but this alluring houseplant is famous for its vibrant flower. 


Tropical to sub-tropical climate or USDA Zones 8, 9, and 10 are perfect for growing Canna Lilies. 

Growing Season

Loves well drained soil. Prepare potting mix with 30% soil + 20% cocopeat + 20% river sand + 30% compost

Potting Mix

In colder climate keep your plant under direct sunlight, but in warmer climate keep it under indirect sunlight. 


Apply water once a week or whenever top layer of soil becomes dry for good growth of the plant.


Avoid using nitrogen rich fertilizers. You can apply banana peel fertilizers for heavy blooming during active season. 


You can propagate Calla Lily by dividing their rhizome or rooting structure. Seed grown canna lily takes time to flower.
