Basic Nutrients:<\/b> They are <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carbon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Carbon<\/a><\/u><\/b>, <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hydrogen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Hydrogen<\/a><\/u><\/b> \u0914\u0930 <b><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oxygen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Oxygen<\/a><\/b> and are generally available to plants from air, water and soil. They constitute 96% of the total dry matter of the plant.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><b>2. Macro Nutrients:<\/b>\u00a0They are Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nitrogen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">\u0928\u093e\u0907\u091f\u094d\u0930\u094b\u091c\u0928<\/a><\/u><\/b>, <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Phosphorus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">\u092b\u093e\u0938\u094d\u092b\u094b\u0930\u0938<\/a><\/u><\/b>, <u><b><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Potassium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">\u092a\u094b\u091f\u0947\u0936\u093f\u092f\u092e<\/a><\/b><\/u>, <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Calcium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Calcium<\/a><\/u><\/b>, <b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Magnesium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Magnesium<\/a><\/u><\/b>, and\u00a0<b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sulfur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Sulphur<\/a><\/u><\/b>. These elements are required in larger amount than micro nutrients in every plants.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen are both basic and macro nutrients that are not needed to applied externally.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">Macro nutrients are further classified into two categories i.e. Primary nutrients and Secondary nutrients.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><b>A. Primary Nutrients:<\/b>\u00a0They are Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). They are required in specific fixed and proper ratio by a plant to grow and develop very well.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><b>B. Secondary Nutrients: <\/b>They are Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), and Sulphur (S). They are also required in large quantity but lesser than primary nutrients.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><b>3. Micro Nutrients: <\/b>They are Manganese (Mn), Iron ( Fe), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Boron (B), Molybdenum (\u00a0Mo), and Chlorine (Cl). They are required in very less amount i.e. why they are also known as minor or trace elements.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">These 16 elements that are required in larger and lesser amount have their specific roles in plant growth and development.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: large;\">From various research on nutrients uptake and response in plants it has been found that after a certain level of application of plant nutrient causes <b>toxicity in plants<\/b>.
