It is<strong> native to America<\/strong> where they have been cultivated for thousands of years. Now peppers are cultivated worldwide and use in many cooked dishes and in salads. The large furrowed fruits are technically berries and maybe green, red, yellow, or orange. To plant new seedling use potting mix <strong>60% loamy soil+30% coco peat + 5% compose + 5% sand<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Add 5 gm Neem Cake per pot<\/strong> to protect plants from <strong>soil born diseases and pests.<\/strong><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Selection_of_Pot\"><\/span>\u0917\u092e\u0932\u0947 \u0915\u093e \u091a\u092f\u0928<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Use the <strong>containers made of ceramic, clay, plastic or terra cotta. <\/strong>You can select Containers of <strong>12-16 inch diameter<\/strong> with a\u00a0<strong>depth of 6-10 inches. <\/strong>Take care of having a good drainage system <strong>with at least 3 to 4 holes per container.<\/strong><br><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Propagation\"><\/span>\u092a\u094d\u0930\u0938\u093e\u0930 \u0915\u0947 \u0924\u0930\u0940\u0915\u0947<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">If you want to propagate it from seed than buy good quality seeds from seed sellers.<strong> It is locked down now<\/strong> so you can use capsicum in your kitchen for obtaining seeds. When you cut the capsicum fruit into two halves you will see lots of seeds, you can use it for propagation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">To germinate seeds use a <strong>germination tray<\/strong> and fill it with <strong>seedling potting mix.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Now plant <strong>seeds 2-3 cm deep<\/strong> and cover it with soil lightly. Now <strong>wet the soil<\/strong> but <strong>do not apply an overdose of water<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Keep the tray in warm, and humid conditions for fast germination. <strong>Soil and air temperature<\/strong> should be <strong>20 to 27degree centigrade for the best result.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">\u0905\u0902\u0915\u0941\u0930\u0923 \u091f\u094d\u0930\u0947 <strong>does not need direct sunlight for 1-2 weeks<\/strong>. Wrap the tray with plastic foil to keep the soil moist. During germinating, you should keep the soil moist all time. <strong>The dryness of the soil can reduce the chances of seed germination. <\/strong>After germination <strong>thin out the weak plants<\/strong> \u0914\u0930 <strong>keep healthy plants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">When seedlings are<strong> developing true leaves<\/strong>, they are now<strong> ready to transplant in large containers<\/strong>.<br><br><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transplantation\"><\/span>\u091f\u094d\u0930\u093e\u0902\u0938\u092a\u094d\u0932\u093e\u0902\u091f\u0947\u0936\u0928<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Now fill the containers with potting soil leaving a two-inch distance between the soil surface and rim of the containers. Remove seedling or nursery plants without damaging the roots from their old container. <strong>Dig 2-3 inch holes<\/strong> in the middle of the new container and plant the young plants. Now cover the roots with potting mix loosely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Cover the base of the plant with an inch layer mulch (<strong>chopped straw<\/strong>). Mulching is compulsory in the dry season. Now place the containers where <strong>it can receive at least 6 to 7 hours of sunlight.<\/strong><br><br><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Watering\"><\/span>\u092a\u093e\u0928\u0940<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Do not overwater and underwater the plant.<strong> A strict water schedule should be provided for young plants until the roots get well established in the soil. <\/strong>In summer or dry weather water the plants once in a day as per requirement. Apply water only to the soil around the base of the plant.<br><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fertilizers\"><\/span>\u0916\u093e\u0926<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Feeding the plant <\/strong>with<strong> \u00bd teaspoon bone meal<\/strong> is necessary for <strong>every 2 weeks<\/strong>. <strong>Avoid nitrogen-rich fertilizer<\/strong>, too much nitrogen increases foliage and decrease the fruit production. Feed the plant with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seaweed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u0938\u092e\u0941\u0926\u094d\u0930\u0940 \u0936\u0948\u0935\u093e\u0932<\/a><\/strong> mix, <strong>weekly \u00bc teaspoon&nbsp;of seaweed&nbsp;<\/strong>will increase blooming and fruit production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Using <strong>Epsom salt<\/strong> also<strong> improves the yield of plants<\/strong>. <strong>Half tablespoon Epsom salts<\/strong> <strong>dilute in 1-liter freshwater<\/strong> and spray it during the blooming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Pruning is not compulsory but the plant can be pruned if required. Pollination increases the production of fruit in the plant. To pollinates just shake the flowers or plant at the time of blooming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Green fruits are harvested before the appearance of red or yellow pigment.
