Cauliflower is a popular vegetable crop of Asia which is cultivated for its edible flower head. Here is the list of largest cauliflower producing states in India.
India is the second largest cauliflower producing country in the world. Every year around 8,199,000 tonnes of cauliflower is produced in India.
West Bengal is the largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 1,969,440 tonnes of cauliflower (21.22% of total) were produced in West Bengal.
Madhya Pradesh is the 2nd largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 1,222,010 tonnes of cauliflower (13.16% of total) were produced in West Bengal.
Bihar is the 3rd largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 1,031,470 tonnes of cauliflower (11.11% of total) were produced in Bihar.
Gujarat is the 4th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 713,870 tonnes of cauliflower (7.69% of total) were produced in Gujarat.
Haryana is the 5th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 672,160 tonnes of cauliflower (7.24% of total) were produced in Haryana.
Orissa is the 6th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 642,940 tonnes of cauliflower (6.93% of total) were produced in Orissa.
Chattisgarh is the 7th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 482,480 tonnes of cauliflower (5.20% of total) were produced in Chattisgarh.
Punjab is the 8th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 450,600 tonnes of cauliflower (4.85% of total) were produced in Punjab.
Uttar Pradesh is the 9th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 436,770 tonnes of cauliflower (4.71% of total) were produced in Uttar Pradesh.
Assam is the 10th largest cauliflower producing state in India. From 2021-2022 around 436,450 tonnes of cauliflower (4.70% of total) were produced in Assam.
