Now farmers of Bihar state in India can get up to 90% subsidy from government for adopting micro-irrigation systems in farm.
Adopting micro-irrigation helps in saving 60% water, 25-30% fertilizers, 35% input cost, and increasing yield by 25 to 35%.
For cultivating sugarcane, pineapple, papaya, litchi, guava, banana, mango, onion, vegetables, etc. farmers can adopt drip irrigation.
On 1 acre farm, cost of installing drip system is around 65,827 rupee & you will get subsidy of 59,244 rupee as subsidy by government.
If you are cultivating tea, potato, onion, rice, wheat or vegetables then you can adopt mini-sprinkler system in your farm.
On 1 acre farm, cost of installing Mini-sprinkler system is around 52,548rupee & you will get subsidy of 47,293 rupee as subsidy from government.
For cultivating litchi or for polyhouse cultivation adopt micro sprinkler. And for wheat, rice, dalhan, telhan adop portable sprinkler.
On 1 acre farm, cost of installing micro-sprinkler system is around 37,619 rupee & you will get subsidy of 33,857 rupee as subsidy by government.
On 1 acre farm, cost of installing portable sprinkler system is around 15,1593 rupee & you will get subsidy of 33,857 rupee as subsidy by government.
