Bsc Agriculture practical
BSc. AGRICULTURE COLLEGE|SYLLABUS|SUBJECTS|SCOPE

4 years course
(10+2 with PCM/B)

BSc. Agriculture course is offered by many different colleges and universities in India. This course is of 4 years duration (8 semesters). A student with math or biology background in 12th are eligible to take admission in this course. I would like to suggest that if you belong to a maths background then you should think about some other courses like B.tech (agriculture). Agriculture itself has many branches like fisheries, horticulture, forestry, etc. If you are not interested in biology and you love mathematics or you are very good at maths then I would prefer not to choose BSc. Agriculture because in the 4 years of this course you will be taught 95% of biology only.

How to select college?

For doing Bsc. Agriculture there are so many private colleges in India where you can get admission easily for this course, all you need is to pass in your (10+2) but as you must have heard about IIT(for b.tech) and NEET(for MBBS) similarly there is ICAR(Indian council of agriculture research) this is an all India entrance exam for B.sc.(Agriculture) I would recommend to all students to get admission through ICAR only for this course for better knowledge and future. In case you have to take admission in any private college please check it’s affiliation and way of providing practical knowledge about the subject in this course practical knowledge is very much important and theory as well.
